Sebastian Lambeck is Foolstop and Foolstop is Sebastian. Foolstop started in 2007 as a folk-project. During that year Sebastian and a couple of friends recorded some demos in Hannover, Germany. The folky outset never merged into a serious approach of music and some time later Sebastian moved to Berlin, Germany and improved Foolstop as a solo-artist into some sort of musical melting pot, strongly influenced by singer-songwriter music, indie-rock, but always with a slight electronic influence. More an more synthesizer-sounds found their entry into the Singer-Songwriter style. In 2021 Foolstop released the first fully produced album „Distorted Moods“. With this album Sebastian finally merged his work into a style of music he himself names Singer-Songwriter-Post-Rock. Thats a long story short!
